About

I’m Ferrin, a Full Stack Web Developer based in California. Want to know more about me? Keep scrolling.

My name is Ferrin Simanungkalit. I am a full stack web developer with a constant urge to learn and innovate. I graduated from UCSB in June 2018 with a degree in Anthropology. As you can see, being a web developer was not something I imagined doing, but being able to create something out of nothing is something that has always intrigued me. My new found passion for web development has allowed me to incorporate my talents and skills in designing and problem solving to develop beautiful websites and apps that can serve a purpose to society.

When I am not deep in my laptop screen trying to code an app to execute one of my grandeur ideas, I am scrolling through Instagram looking at memes or astrology posts (for entertainment purposes only, fyi). Other than that, I enjoy eating delicious food with the company of amazing friends and going on long drives alone when gas isn't four dollars a gallon. My hobbies include anything that allows me to be creative, such as woodworking, sewing, leathercrafting, and creating flyers, invitations, and posters. If you don't see me working magic with my hands, you can probably catch me dancing or learning new languages.
